Information Text Regarding the Processing of Personal Data in the Membership Form

As A.B Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (“Oasis”); within the scope of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and the relevant legislation and legal regulations, we have prepared this disclosure text in order to inform you about the processing, storage and transfer of your personal data arising from our activities.

What Are the Categories of Personal Data We Process and For What Purposes Do We Process Them?

The personal data of our visitors may be processed by Oasis in accordance with the principles set forth in Article 4/2 of the KVKK, namely:

• Being compliant with the law and principles of honesty,

• Being accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date,

• Being processed for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes,

• Being relevant, limited and proportionate to the purposes for which they are processed,

• Being retained for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation or required for the purpose for which they are processed,

and in line with the purposes stated below.

• Identity information (e.g., name, surname, gender, date of birth)

• Contact information (e.g., address, telephone number, e-mail address)

• Customer transaction information (e.g., order details, payment details, favorite product information, cart information, etc.)

Purposes of Processing Personal Data:

• Conducting activities in compliance with legislation

• Carrying out information security processes

• Conducting finance and accounting operations

• Managing processes related to loyalty to company/products/services

• Conducting communication activities

• Conducting and auditing business activities

• Receiving and evaluating suggestions for the improvement of business processes

• Carrying out business continuity activities

• Conducting logistics activities

• Conducting sales processes of goods/services

• Conducting after-sales support services for goods/services

• Conducting marketing analysis studies

• Conducting advertising/campaign/promotion processes

• Managing customer relationship processes

• Carrying out activities aimed at customer satisfaction

What Are the Methods of Collecting Your Personal Data?

Your personal data specified above in categories are collected through partially or fully automated means via your use of our website, such as filling out the membership form, completing the membership information page, adding products to your cart or favorites, placing an order, returning purchased products, and submitting support requests.

What Is the Legal Basis for Collecting Your Personal Data?

Your personal data are processed by Oasis for the realization of the purposes explained above, based on the legal grounds specified in Article 5 of the KVKK, namely:

• Processing being necessary for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation,

• Processing of personal data belonging to the parties of a contract being necessary, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract,

• Processing being necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

Do We Transfer Your Personal Data to Third Parties?

The aforementioned personal data are transferred, within the scope prescribed by legal regulations, to authorized public institutions and organizations for the purposes of conducting activities in compliance with legislation, following up and conducting legal affairs, and providing information to authorized persons, institutions and organizations; to the cargo company for the purpose of delivering your order; and to our group companies to the extent necessary for the proper performance of our services.

In addition, such personal data may be transferred to the law firm from which we receive services and to judicial authorities in order to be used as evidence in potential future legal disputes.

How Can You Exercise Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data?

You may submit your requests within the scope of Article 11 of the KVKK, which regulates the rights of data subjects, to A.B Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş. through the “Application Form to the Data Controller” prepared to facilitate your application, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, available at “https://oasisturkiye.com/”.
